In the small and quaint historic city of Mount Dora there are more than 40 businesses and many more individuals that have jumped on the social media bandwagon led by Twitter veterans Michele Wilson http://www.twitter.com/pureaveda), Brian Young (@MountDora) and Janet Craig (@MtDoraSushi). "Find out how Social Media is helping Mount Dora and Lake County businesses get a leg up in these challenging times," says Brian Young of http://www.whattodoinmountdora.com/. "It's a fun networking event and a great opportunity to talk to people using Social Media," said Jennifer Dempsey of Fifth Monkey Productions in a recent Orlando Sentinel article about the upcoming Lake County "TweetUp."
In addition to the networking opportunity a regular dinner menu will be available at Mt Dora Sushi & Steak and there will be a special "TweetUp" menu of delicious appetizers, and maybe a blue drink or two according to restaurant owner Janet Craig. There will be door prizes and live entertainment to round out the evening so whether a Social Media veteran or simply an interested observer, come out to the "TweetUp" and learn more.
